Settings

The details screen allows you to manage the various configuration settings for your site theme. The values are specific to each theme and can vary significantly over time as your site evolves and the need for more settings is discovered.

Each setting consists of the 3 element group, or "tuple". There are certain predefined tuples that the administration tools look for when presenting options to the administrators, explained below. Aside from those, the values here are custom to your site theme.

Site Settings

These attributes are as follows:

Property Description
Group This is a logical grouping of values to keep multiple settings together.
Name This is the name of the Setting
Value The value of the setting.

As mentioned before, there are certain groups that the administration uses to help with your merchandising needs. These are as follows:

Group Name Value Description
APPEASEMENT_REASON These values will appear to your call center personnel in the list of available reasons when processing an appeasement.
CANCEL_REASON These values will appear to your call center personnel in the list of available reasons when processing a cancellation.
RETURN_REASON These values will appear to your call center personnel in the list of available reasons when processing a return.
RETURN_SHIPPING PREPAID_LABEL_COST This value is used in return processing to discount the amount credited to the customer to cover the use of a prepaid shipping label. If the tuple is present, and a return is processed, the amount appearing in the value field will be subtracted from the return amount. This value can also be referenced in the site, to allow you to communicate to your customer that using the return label will reduce the amount of their credit.
PRODUCT_SIZECHART These values will appear on the product detail page in the sizechart dropdown. Each value should be the name of the editorial content that contains the HTML for your size chart. The "Name" is the value that will appear in the dropdown.
PRODUCT_AUTO_SKU_ACTIVATION PRODUCT YES Normally, when a product style is marked as inactive, all of the skus are marked inactive. However, when a style is marked as active, it is up to the merchandiser to identify which of the skus should be marked active. By creating this tuple, it lets the system know that when re-activating a product style that you want to override the normal behavior and also activate all skus at the same time.
STORE_BADGE These values will appear to in the Store Tool in the badges section to allow you to add badges to your stores. The Name is the customer friendly phrase. The value is the one-word, CSS value that you can use to define the display class of the badge.

Badges

The badges screen allows you to create and sort product badges. These will appear in the Product Tool in the badges section when merchandising your products. By sorting the badges, a precedence order can be created so that certain badges take precedence over other badges when your site theme puts limits on the number of badges that can be displayed at the same time.

Badges

These attributes are as follows:

Property Description
Name The name of the badge. This is what will appear to the customer.
Value The coded value of the badge. This is typically a single word value that can be used to apply css treatments to the badge in your site theme.
