Searching for a store

Browsing Store Categories

If you wish to work with all of the stores in a particular category, you can switch to the browse tab. This will give you an interactive tool to locate the category you are looking for. Use the arrows to expand subcategories. Once you have found the desired category, click the name to see the stores assigned to that category.

To edit the category attributes, click the pen icon. A window will open with the various category elements that can be altered.

To delete the category, click the trash can icon.

Note

Deleting a category will not delete the stores in it. It simply removes the category association from any stores and finally removes the category itself.

Details

To create a new store, click the Add New button above the search criteria. Choose a unique name for the store and any supporting content.

Adding a store

Once all of your revisions have been made, click "Save All Changes" to commit them to the site.

Assets

Assets include any images of the store. Assets are encapsulated into named "views", and can be displayed with the store throughout your site pages. Asset Views can be sorted by dragging the view into the desired order using the grabber icon. The first image in the sorted list will always be the default view shown on listing, search an detail pages.

Editing Store Assets

To add a new view, provide a title and click "create new view". You can upload your image assets once the view has been created.

Categories

The categories tool allows you to group similar stores into categories. These can be used for administrative organization purposes, allowing you to quickly navigate to groups of similar stores, or as a collection that can be displayed on your site.

Editing Store Categories

The categories that this store has been associated with can be seen on the left side of the screen. Clicking the Remove button next to the desired category will remove the current store from that category.

To add the current store to an existing category, select the desired category from the drop down and click "Add To List"

Holiday Hours

Holiday Hours allow you to define specific dates in the future when the store will not operate on its normal open and close times. Similar to defining the regular hours, you will provide an open and close time, but in addition you must define the date on which these special hours will be in effect.

Holiday hours that are current or in the future will appear on your store detail page. Once the date has passed, the special hour will not be visible on the consumer site, but will still be visible in this tool for historical purposes.

Editing Store Holiday Hours

To add a new hour, provide an effective date, the open/close times and click "Add Holiday Hour". You will then see it listed in the Current Holidays section sorted by date.

Change History

The change history tab shows all of the changes that were made to this content and by whom. It is useful for diagnosing unexpected results on your site.
